Soria chorizo is a delicious slicing sausage with a smoky, garlicky flavor. Soria is made using thick cuts of pork, creating a leaner, meaty sausage that has become a La Tienda favorite. The recipe comes from the medieval city of Soria, in Old Castille, where some of the highest quality embutidos are created. Like most chorizos, Soria is seasoned with smoked paprika (Pimentn de La Vera), sea salt, garlic and other spices. This chorizo is fully cured and ready to eat with no cooking necessary.
